Innovative and Elegant Wedding Photography for Kenosha, Racine and beyond
This last weekend I had the chance to shoot the wedding of this lovely couple. I have to say up front I was stocked to hear we would be having the wedding ceremony at the “space ship” church in Racine. I have driven by it for years and always wondered what it looked like inside. It was a nice sunny day and actually a bit hot, which was nice. Wow… a month already since my last post. I hope I haven’t lost you all yet. March 7th I had a chance to shoot the wedding of Andrea and Aaron. It was shorter than most of my weddings but there was no lack of great moments. These two are amazing people and I wish them all the best. Here are some highlights from the day.
Now most people know I don’t usually post anything to the blog that isn’t wedding or portrait related but I thought I would share and image I captured the other night from the eclipse. It was so cold but I tried to endure and grab a shot. I don’t have a super telephoto lens or a telescope so I had to improvise. Enjoy.
Wedding season starts in two weeks as I have an awesome wedding for Andrea and Aaron. Im looking forward to another great year.
Sometime ago I was approached by a friend to take some images of her band in Chicago. I said “well I’m a wedding/portrait photographer but I suppose I can give it a whirl”. So after a whirlwind shoot in the morning I managed to meet with the band. Here are some of the images I got out of the shoot. I love the windy city and the band was great. I had so much fun. Oh and by the way the band is called “Untitled” and they are available on Itunes.
Sometime back when the weather was warmer and the days seemed much longer I did a Trash the Dress shoot for my friend Joy. With hubby James in tow we made the rounds through wonderful downtown Kenosha. I had been eye-balling the fountain in front of the museum for some time now and thought that Joy would be the perfect person to pull off some fun shots. Well here we are the second week of October in 80 degree weather. Kind of crazy I think. Last week I had an opportunity to go with the great folks of SmugMug to Glacier National Park in Montana. I had a lot of fun and got a chance to shoot landscape instead of bridalscape (not that I mind weddings) for the first time in 4 months. I just thought I would share some images with you.
